The dancer and choreographer traces a history of dance and ballet, abundantly illustrated with reproductions of period photographs and with illustrations by Pablo Picasso, Christian Bérard, Jean Cocteau, Aristide Maillol. Signed autograph inscription by Serge Lifar accompanied by his stamp.
