Black half-morocco with corners, raised bands spine decorated with fleurons, gilt author and title, initials D.L. at the foot of the spine. Some rubbing to the binding, light oxidation, two creases on page 87. The illustrated wrappers and the spine are preserved. Numbered copy on tinted Arches wove paper, no. 171 of 330. Edition illustrated with 33 compositions by Georges Rochegrosse etched by Eugène Decisy; the plates are under tissue guards and the text is framed with ornaments in black. This edition contains four previously unpublished sonnets.</p>
