Porphyry-stained half-calf with corners, spine with 5 raised bands, green title labels and orange volume labels, date at foot, compartments decorated with fleurons. Edition limited to 500 numbered copies on Lafuma pure rag paper. Well bound, spines and wrappers preserved. Lucien Pinvert's copy, author of the notice and notes for this edition of the complete works of Robert Garnier, the great tragic poet of the Renaissance. The work is extra-illustrated and annotated, with original letters at the end of the 2nd volume, including one from the writer and diplomat Jean Jules Jusserand, Prince Victor Napoléon (son-in-law of King Leopold II), and the curator and academician Pierre de Nolhac... A very fine copy.
