Signature in the plate "HAWEBSTER - Strasbourg 1913". After his studies at Yale, Webster settled and traveled in France. He trained at the Académie Julien. A renowned engraver, influenced by Charles Meyron. He did not actually live in Strasbourg, but this print is one of his most well-known. Webster is a talented engraver recognized in the circle of enthusiasts.
