The composition is accompanied by four verses celebrating Saint Michael as the defender of God and protector of the Kingdom of France. Fine 18th-century proof, published by the Basset house, a family of print publishers on rue Saint-Jacques. Good inking and good general condition, despite an ink stain in the right margin and two pinholes in the upper margin.
