A restoration at the center, which does not alter the engraving in its overall appearance. Good general condition. On the recto, a cartouche is noted. This map is quite exceptional and modern in view of its details for a new continent and its realistic proportions. Moreover, it is in a beautiful state for its age. It comes from a 16th-century German edition of the Cosmography by Sébastien Munster. The map is in Latin. It is a piece of history.
