Sheet dimensions: 33 x 87 cm Plate mark dimensions: 30.3 x 85 cm Assembly of two plates to serve a large fresco. 5 folds of the period and origin. Some scattered foxing noted without severity. Clear inking, marked plate mark. No losses. Good overall condition. Large engraving of great finesse and particularly detailed. It presents all the trades that contributed to the voluntary offerings of materials for the construction of the Tabernacle (Illustration from the Book of Exodus). Carpenters, coppersmiths, drapers, blacksmiths, weavers, founders, wheelwrights, tanners... The Ark of the Covenant is also depicted. Johannes Luyken, (Amsterdam 1649 - 1712). He is considered one of the great masters of Dutch engraving of the Golden Age.
