A pupil of Jacques-Philippe Lebas in Paris, Noël Le Mire was a draughtsman and engraver active in Rouen and Paris. He was notably a member of the Imperial and Royal Academy of Arts in Vienna (1768) and of the Académie des Sciences, Belles-lettres et Arts de Rouen (1769).
