In this work, belonging to the tradition of the Ars moriendi, he invites the Christian to prepare for a "good death" through a life of prayer, virtue, detachment from earthly goods, examination of conscience, and trust in divine mercy. This printing is rarer than contemporary Parisian editions.

A fine edition of this work typical of the "ars moriendi" of the 17th and 18th centuries. Full Morocco leather binding with gilt dentelle border.
