Contemporary full calf, raised bands spine decorated with gilt compartments and fleurons, title label. Joints partly split, abrasions, headcaps and corners bumped. Old stamps on the title page partly cut out and crossed through, causing offsetting on the following 3 leaves. Some foxing and yellowed leaves. Complete with the frontispiece by Jacob Andreas Friedrich (1684-1751), the map of Alsace in three parts, the map of Mont Sainte-Odile, the two engravings of statues and bas-relief, the two plans of Strasbourg and the King's Privilege.</p>
